Summer Conference Desk Attendant (CDA) - Hiring February to April

About the role

Looking for students who are detail-oriented, friendly, responsible, and able to maintain professional standards as part of a customer service team. Previous A/V experience is a plus. 6-8 positions available.

Responsibilities

  • Set up for events, operate audio/visual equipment, deliver conference materials, and provide excellent customer service
  • Move and set up tables, chairs, tents, large boxes, etc.
  • Drive large vehicles (SUV, 8-passenger van, etc.)
  • Attend weekly staff meetings on Wednesday evenings
  • Work evenings, weekends, and some holidays

Requirements

  • Valid US driver's license
  • Comfortable working in a team
  • Must be available for the following dates:
    • May 16, 2026: Half-day onboarding
    • May 17 - June 7, 2026 (exact dates TBD): Two training sessions
    • June 15 - 19, 2026: Mandatory training week (~40 hours, 9 am-6 pm daily)
    • June 20 - 21, 2026: Opening weekend

Pay

$17.15/hr (2026 rate)

Schedule

20-35 hrs/week. Training sessions in mid-May, with work running from June through approximately the week after Labor Day weekend.
