Substitute Teacher (On Call as Needed)

About the role

Responsibilities

• Teach various subjects to students in grades K-12
• Adhere to curriculum and lesson plans provided by the district
• Ensure student safety and classroom management
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members

Requirements

• A four-year degree
• MN Department of Education Educator or Short-Call Substitute Teaching license

Pay

Compensation is based on the Minnesota State Substitute Teacher Scale.

Schedule

Substitute teachers are called in as needed, typically during the school day.
