Substance Use Counselor - Weekdays

About the role

This role is for a Substance Use Disorder Counselor responsible for providing individual and group counseling, assessments, screenings, referrals, and treatment planning to support clients' recovery and stability.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling
• Conduct assessments, screenings, and referrals
• Develop and maintain treatment plans
• Perform case management and coordinate community support services
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC credential
• Associate’s degree in human services or related field (bachelor’s preferred)
• Knowledge of addiction, recovery, and case management principles
• Experience with justice-involved populations is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
