Substance Use Counselor - Monday to Friday

About the role

We are seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide individual and group counseling, complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate community support services. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation, supporting clients' recovery goals, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to clients
• Complete comprehensive assessments for clients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Coordinate community support services for clients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
• Support clients in achieving their recovery goals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners

Requirements

• A valid Wisconsin SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC credential
• An associate's degree in a human services or related field (bachelor's preferred)
• Knowledge of addiction and case management principles
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
