Minimum Qualifications

• Current Heartland Dental supported hygienist
• Valid dental hygienist license in state of CO and an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in dental hygiene
• Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person once conditions allow) periodically throughout the year
• CPR Certification
• Mastery level proficiency in clinical skills to include Velscope or Vizilite Pro, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ oral health

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
