Student Wellness Ambassador (Student/Work Study)

Responsibilities

• Complete training requirement to serve as a peer educator
• Aid the Wolverine Well-being Educator in developing and delivering presentations, workshops, and tabling events on various wellness-related topics
• Develop and distribute health promotion materials such as flyers, social media content, and digital campaigns
• Participate in campus-wide events to promote wellness initiatives
• Collaborate with student organizations, campus departments, and community partners to support programs and events
• Effectively communicate information about campus and community wellness resources
• Aid students in navigating and accessing appropriate support services
• Contribute to the evaluation of wellness programs by gathering student feedback and participating in ongoing improvement efforts

Required Qualifications

• UM-Flint undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing
