Student Services Advisor
Job Description
The Student Services Advisor supports student success by providing academic and career guidance, and assisting with admissions, financial aid, and degree selection. This role collaborates with various departments in Academic and Student Affairs, interprets placement and transcript information, and connects students to resources such as tutoring, counseling, and other areas, when necessary. Advisors ensure students understand degree and graduation requirements while helping them navigate the college journey from enrollment to completion.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College with a bachelor’s degree OR graduation from an accredited institution with an associate degree and at least two years of relevant experience.
- Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at the post-secondary level in a Student Services area.
Salary Range
$40,800.00 - $45,800.00
