This position is open to all students who are enrolled as a full-time student in good standing as defined by the University at the time of employment. Candidates must maintain a 2.5 cumulative and semester GPA the semester prior to employment and be available for 20 hours per week.
About the Role
The Student Assistant within the Housing & Residence Life Package Services team is responsible for the following duties:
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming parcels to all residential halls on campus.
- Load and unload sorted bins and packages into vehicles for delivery.
- Prepare bins to be loaded into delivery vehicles.
- Verify addresses and ensure proper preparation of outgoing mail and packages.
- Follow all safety procedures while handling mail, operating equipment, and transporting packages.
- Maintain current knowledge of Housing & Residence Life policies, procedures, emergency protocols, and documentation standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Enrolled as a full-time student in good standing as defined by the University at the time of employment.
- Maintain a 2.5 cumulative and semester GPA the semester prior to employment.
- Available for 20 hours per week.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Pay
