Student Services Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform student support activities to enhance and reinforce behavioral and social skills
• Report sensitive issues to assigned supervisor or counselor
• Aid students in developing refusal skills related to alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs
• Assist students with issues such as bullying, low self-esteem, anger management, decision making, and other obstacles that hinder full educational potential
• Provide a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for staff and students
