About the Role

This position greets and processes all visitors at the Enrollment Center front desk and assists with campus visitors and students. Additionally, the role conducts general clerical assignments for the Express Enrollment Center and campus to enhance enrollment services for incoming and continuing students. It serves as the first point of contact to address day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to questions and requests from students, the public, faculty, administrators, and staff, referring them to the appropriate area or individual on campus.
  • Performs clerical duties for campus functions as needed.
  • Signs students into the queueing system and answers basic questions about dual credit, dual enrollment, admissions, registration, financial aid, orientation, assessment, and advising processes.
  • Assists with special projects, including data entry and imaging.
  • Works effectively among several computer platforms utilized by the Enrollment department.
  • Functions effectively within a team environment and possesses excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Maintains working knowledge of emergency/safety procedures as provided by the supervisor.
  • Conducts all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
  • Performs other duties logically associated with the position as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree with comparable experience in a similar setting preferred.
  • High level of technical competency in all phases of clerical procedures and records management.
  • Strong composition, spelling, and proofreading skills.
