The ideal candidate should be passionate about understanding business strategy, identifying growth avenues & customer pain points, collaboration and data analysis, and applying them to drive an impactful change.

Support industry and competitor research

  • Support industry and competitor research to develop competitive intelligence to drive robust business plans in collaboration with Industry sales, Product management, Regional World Area teams and other functions.

Global responsibilities

  • Identify and utilize multiple avenues of primary market research to support medium term industry plans and identify long term strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external and internal teams to lead industry investigations and develop industry growth plans.
  • Leverage competitive intelligence to drive strategic industry growth and inform key initiatives, aligning insights with the organization's long-term vision and goals.
  • Collaborate with key team members for go/no-go decision on advanced technology ideas; Identify how these ideas can support strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate dynamics in the world area such as segment growth, new opportunities, industry trends, strategic account movements and competitive intelligence that impact business performance.
  • Drive cadence of competitor product offerings and financials, performance by industry.
  • Support in driving communication meetings with leadership teams.

Qualifications

  • B.S. Engineering and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience
  • Strong demonstrated experience in strategic business analysis and development / execution of growth plans
  • Experience in developing growth plans, market analysis, portfolio roadmaps, conduct competitive analysis, develop business cases and general growth strategies
  • Experience in process industries, sales, business development, or marketing is a key advantage
