Strategic Account Manager - Nuclear Power Plants
About the role
The Strategic Account Manager represents Curtiss-Wright in the South-Central territory, focusing on nuclear power plants, utility corporate offices, and A&Es involved in nuclear power plant projects. The primary objective is to develop relationships that enhance plant efficiency, reliability, and long-term operation. The role involves aligning customer needs with Curtiss-Wright’s nuclear plant products and services, creating new leads and opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with senior executives, engineers, maintenance personnel, and other decision-makers within the territory.
- Develop and execute tailored account strategies that align with Curtiss-Wright’s long-term objectives, maximizing account value through cross-selling, upselling, and renewals.
- Proactively address customer concerns and ensure long-term partnerships.
- Affirmatively assess client needs and provide solutions to address challenges.
- Travel approximately 60% to 70% of the time within the geographic territory.
Requirements
- Ability to gain unescorted nuclear power plant access.
- Experience in business development or sales related to the power generation industry.
- Knowledge of nuclear power plant design, operation, regulation, and maintenance practices.
- Understanding and communication of complex technical solutions to both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Prior degree in an Engineering discipline preferred.

- Technical knowledge of I&C systems, outage services, and process equipment.

Pay
$100,000 - $140,000 annually, plus bonus. Salary range information is a general guideline and criteria such as qualifications, scope of the specific position, and market considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.
Schedule
Remote with residence in either the Nashville, Baton Rouge, Houston, or Dallas areas. Approximately 60% to 70% travel required.
