The Strategic Account Manager for the South-Central territory represents Curtiss-Wright Nuclear Division in key nuclear power plants, utility corporate offices, and A&Es involved in nuclear power plant projects. The primary objective is to develop strong customer relationships to improve plant efficiency, reliability, and long-term operation.

About the Role

The role involves developing tailored account strategies that align with the company's long-term objectives, focusing on customer satisfaction, and addressing evolving needs through solutions. Regular travel within the geographic territory is required, approximately 60% to 70%.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with senior executives, engineers, maintenance personnel, and other decision-makers.
  • Work with Product Managers to develop and execute account strategies that maximize account value through cross-selling, upselling, and renewals.
  • Assess client needs and provide solutions to address challenges.
  • Gain unescorted nuclear power plant access and possess knowledge of nuclear power plant design, operation, regulation, and maintenance practices.
  • Communicate complex technical solutions effectively to both clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience in business development or sales related to the power generation industry.
  • Knowledge of nuclear power plant design, operation, regulation, and maintenance practices.
  • Understanding of I&C systems, outage services, and process equipment.
  • A degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Ability to gain unescorted nuclear power plant access.
  • Proactive approach to addressing customer concerns and maintaining long-term partnerships.
  • Strong communication skills to work with both clients and internal stakeholders.

Skills

  • Business development or sales experience in the power generation industry.
  • Technical knowledge of nuclear power plant design, operation, regulation, and maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions effectively.

Pay

$100,000 - $140,000 annually, plus bonus. Salary range information is a general guideline and criteria such as qualifications, scope of the position, and market considerations will be evaluated when offering a position.

Schedule

Approximately 60% to 70% travel required.
