Strategic Account Executive, Manufacturing (Remote)

About the role
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will drive pipeline development, new-logo acquisition, and account growth for Cintoo’s manufacturing customers and prospects across the USA.
Responsibilities
- New-Logo Acquisition
- Prospect, develop, and close new enterprise and upper-mid-market accounts in target verticals
- Build and execute strategic account plans
- Spend 30–35% of time on prospecting activities, including account research, multi-channel outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn), event follow-up, and warm-lead nurturing
- Multi-Stakeholder Selling
- Navigate complex buying committees at manufacturing companies
- Engage engineering, operations, maintenance, facilities, IT, and executive economic buyers simultaneously
- Map champions, blockers, budget holders, and technical influencers within each account
- Pipeline & Forecast Management
- Own the full deal cycle from lead qualification through close
- Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene in HubSpot
- Manage lead stages from New to Attempting, Connected, Qualified, and Converted/Disqualified
- Provide accurate, reliable weekly forecasts
- Value-Based Selling
- Sell Cintoo’s solution by linking it to measurable ROI and operational benefits for manufacturing organizations
- Demonstrate how the platform supports key customer outcomes, including reduced unplanned downtime, fewer unnecessary site visits, faster turnaround and shutdown planning, improved QA/QC, and safer maintenance workflows
- Account Expansion
- Work hand-in-hand with the CSM team on existing accounts to drive adoption
- Identify expansion opportunities
- Develop champions and build referenceable customer stories
- Industry Presence & Feedback Loop
- Represent Cintoo at relevant trade shows, industry events, and vertical-specific conferences
- Provide structured market intelligence to Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership on vertical-specific buyer needs, competitive dynamics, and feature gaps
Requirements
- 3-7+ years of B2B technology sales experience in food & beverage and/or consumer products manufacturing environments
- Comfortable selling technical SaaS platforms to engineering and operations audiences
- Strong working knowledge of plant/facility operations. Understand what a maintenance turnaround is, how capital projects are managed, what "brownfield" means, and why as-built documentation matters
- Able to engage credibly in conversations about data workflows, integrations, and software capabilities without needing to be an engineer
- Ability to work alongside a Presales team and co-own a technical discovery and demonstration process
- Hunter mentality, with comfort in outbound prospecting and building pipeline from scratch in a defined vertical
- Executive presence, with the ability to engage credibly with VPs of Operations, Engineering Directors, Plant Managers, and C-suite economic buyers
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn a novel product category and translate it into the language of buyers
- Collaborative approach, working effectively with Customer Success, Marketing, and Presales to orchestrate multi-stakeholder deals
- Strong CRM discipline, with all leads, opportunities, activities, and forecasts maintained in HubSpot in real time
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
Nice to have
- Existing network within food & beverage or CPG manufacturing organizations, especially with engineering, maintenance, operations, or digital transformation leaders
- Prior experience selling SaaS, digital twin, asset management, MES, ERP, or industrial software into manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with reality capture, 3D scanning, point clouds, BIM/CAD, or digital twin concepts
- Exposure to laser scanning, LiDAR, FARO, Leica, Trimble, or NavVis equipment ecosystems
- Familiarity with BIM/CAD tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or Forma in manufacturing or industrial contexts
- Track record selling into multi-site, global manufacturing organizations
