About the role

Lead stormwater infrastructure projects, including underground utilities, concrete structures, and stormwater basins. Operate heavy equipment, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure project success while upholding safety standards. Frequent regional travel (85% or more) is required, with lodging and a company vehicle provided.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair critical stormwater infrastructure, including underground utilities, concrete structures, and stormwater basins.
• Operate advanced construction equipment such as skid loaders, excavators, dozers, and hand/power tools.
• Travel regionally during the week to work on projects across the central states.
• Document field observations to support project success and continuous improvement.
• Prioritize and uphold the highest safety standards on every project.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and staff effectively.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of underground wet utility construction experience.
• Experience with stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, rebar, concrete finishing, underground piping, and detention/retention basins.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (e.g., Skid Loader, Mini-Excavator).
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently (85% or more).
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform manual labor, lift and carry 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and endure inclement weather.
• Pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening (drug-free workplace).

Pay

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule
