About the role
We are seeking a Stormwater Construction Foreman (Heavy Equipment/Concrete) to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. This position offers a competitive compensation package including a $1,500 sign-on bonus, full-time employment, and opportunities for financial growth.
Responsibilities
- Construct and repair critical stormwater infrastructure, including underground utilities, concrete structures, and stormwater basins.
- Operate advanced construction equipment such as skid loaders, mini-excavators, and dozers.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and staff to ensure project success.
- Travel frequently to various locations to oversee projects and contribute to their success.
- Document field observations to aid in project success and drive continuous improvement.
- Prioritize safety on every project, adhering to the highest safety standards.
Requirements
- At least 5-7 years of underground wet utility construction experience.
- Experience with repair and construction of stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, rebar and concrete finishing, underground piping, and detention/retention basins.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as skid loaders, mini-excavators, and dozers.
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and staff effectively.
- 85% or more regional travel required due to project needs.
Qualifications
- Pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.
- A valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- A reliable method of transportation.
- Able to perform manual labor, lift and carry up to 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and under inclement weather conditions.
Skills
- Strong technical skills in stormwater utilities, water/wastewater, industrial, and commercial site construction.
- Proficiency in operating heavy construction equipment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize safety and adhere to safety standards.

Pay
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Full-Time, 40-55 hours per week.
Regional Travel
Required, typically 85% or more through company vehicle. We provide $68 per diem on out-of-town travel days.
