Responsibilities

• Construct and repair critical stormwater infrastructure
• Operate advanced construction equipment including skid loaders, mini-excavators, and dozers
• Manage budgets, timelines, and staff
• Travel frequently (85% or more) to various locations across the central states
• Document field observations to aid in project success and drive continuous improvement
• Prioritize safety on every project

Requirements

• 5-7 years of underground wet utility construction experience
• Prior experience with repair and construction of stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, rebar and concrete finishing, underground piping, and detention/retention basins
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as skid loader, mini-excavator, etc.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and staff
• Ability to do frequent out-of-town regional travel (85% or more travel required)

Qualifications

• Pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable method of transportation
• Able to perform manual labor, lift and carry 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and under inclement weather conditions

Skills

• Technical expertise in stormwater utilities, water/wastewater, industrial, or commercial site construction
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule

Full-Time, 40-55 hours per week

Pay

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
