About the role

Provide guests with personalized Pottery Barn Kids merchandise utilizing monogram machine and tools.

Responsibilities

• Select items for personalization and match guest orders.
• Ensure needle and threading match guest specifications.
• Assess embroidered items for any frayed threading and assure quality before pickup.
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on the embroidery machine.

Requirements

• Ability to operate embroidery machine and adhere to safety practices and policies.
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
• Ability to operate POS system.
• Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred.

Skills

• 1‑2 years retail sales experience (specialty retail preferred, but not required).
• 1‑2 years customer service experience.
• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay

The anticipated pay range for this role is $18.00‑$20.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time associates are expected to have open availability; casual associates must work a minimum of two regularly‑scheduled weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and one weekday shift (Monday‑Thursday). Associates must be available for annual inventory and the entire holiday season (November and December).
