About the role
Provide guests with personalized Pottery Barn Kids merchandise utilizing monogram machine and tools.
Responsibilities
- Select items for personalization and match guest orders.
- Ensure high attention to detail and match guest specifications for needle and threading.
- Absess embroidered items for frayed threading and assure quality before items are picked up by guest.
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on embroidery machine.
Skills/Knowledge
- 1-2 years retail sales experience (specialty retail preferred, but not required)
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate embroidery machine and adhere to safety practices and policies
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate POS system
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
Education
High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred
Compensation
This role offers a competitive compensation package including pay and benefits. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. The anticipated pay range for this role will be: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
