Store Monogrammer, Part-time, Lincoln Heights, Pottery Barn Kids
Provide guests with personalized Pottery Barn Kids merchandise utilizing a monogram machine and tools.
Responsibilities
- Select items for personalization and match guest orders.
- Ensure high attention to detail, including matching needle and threading to guest specifications.
- Assess embroidered items for frayed threading and verify quality before guest pickup.
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on the embroidery machine.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of retail sales experience (specialty retail preferred, but not required).
- 1-2 years of customer service experience.
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
Skills
- Ability to operate an embroidery machine and adhere to safety practices and policies.
- Mobility on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
- Proficiency in operating a POS system.
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
Schedule
- Full-time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business.
- Casual associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly-scheduled shifts on the weekend (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and one regularly-scheduled shift during the week (Monday-Thursday).
- Availability required for annual inventory and the entire holiday season (November and December).
