Store Manager - Full Time

About the Role

A Store Manager oversees all store operations, including staffing, inventory management, sales, and customer service, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and retain qualified staff.
• Manage store opening and closing, ensuring proper staffing and security.
• Analyze sales and expense data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through ordering, stocking, and cycle counts.
• Ensure merchandise presentation aligns with company standards.
• Control cash handling, prevent shrink, and uphold financial integrity.
• Lead customer service efforts and foster a safe, organized environment.
• Follow policies, complete documentation, and promote safety compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail management experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control, merchandising, cash handling, and legal compliance.
• Ability to perform basic math, operate cash registers, and interpret operational documents.
• Physical ability for frequent movement, lifting up to 40-55 pounds, and occasional climbing.

Work Environment

Fast-paced with frequent standing, walking, bending, and handling merchandise, occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
