Store Manager - Full Time

Role Overview

The Store Manager is responsible for leading all operations at a specialized industrial location serving oil and gas customers. This hands-on role involves managing sales, repair shop activities, warehouse organization, and vendor relationships, ensuring efficient and safe store performance. The manager acts as the final authority on site, overseeing customer interactions, resolving issues, and maintaining a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations, including sales, repair workflows, and inventory management.
• Drive sales through active customer engagement, upselling, and managing outside and inside sales efforts.
• Supervise repair shop activities, ensuring timely job completion and technician coordination.
• Manage warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and procurement with vendors.
• Hire, train, and develop a small team, establishing clear processes and cross-training protocols.
• Maintain safety standards, store cleanliness, and professional presentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer issues, store safety, and operational communication.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• 3-5 years in industrial, wholesale, or B2B sales; 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of oil and gas equipment and repair shop operations.
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
• Versatile with multitasking across sales, repair, warehouse, and ordering functions.
• Physical stamina for demanding tasks and ability to operate relevant equipment.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale and inventory management systems.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges.
