Store Manager - Full Time

About the role

This is a full-time position with a Tuesday through Saturday schedule, averaging approximately 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of a self-storage facility
  • Ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained, including tasks such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pickup, changing light bulbs, pulling weeds, and ensuring all aspects of the facility are in working order
  • Organize and delegate tasks to team members
  • Coordinate with vendors to complete repairs and improvements in a timely manner
  • Build relationships within local apartment communities and businesses to support referral partnerships
  • Handle customer accounts, including delinquency actions, overlock placement, lock cutting/drilling for delinquent units in accordance with company procedures, and lock removal at customer request
  • Tour storage spaces and assist customers throughout the rental process
  • Maintain timely email and phone correspondence
  • Manage daily deposits, cash counts, and petty cash
  • Identify operational areas for improvement and propose effective solutions
  • Collaborate positively with team members and leadership
  • Deliver exceptional customer service during every customer interaction
  • Manage assigned KPIs to meet budget, occupancy, and rental goals
  • Work closely with leadership to improve overall operations and accomplish company objectives
  • Conduct regular property walks and security checks throughout the facility

  • Proficiency with computers, mobile applications, and standard office software including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Gmail, Google Sheets, internet search engines, and mobile app platforms
  • Ability to learn and navigate property management software and other computer-based systems
  • Strong data entry skills with the ability to accurately input, review, and manage customer account information
  • Ability to regularly use desktop computers, laptops, tablets, phones, and other office technology equipment
  • Ability to read computer screens, review digital records, and perform typing tasks for extended periods
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
  • Prior management or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong listening skills and ability to follow direction
  • Ability to complete assigned action items and achieve performance goals

  • Ability to read computer screens, review digital records, and complete data entry and typing tasks accurately
  • Ability to learn and utilize property management software, communication platforms, and other business systems necessary for daily operations

Pay

$19.75 – $21.00 per hour

Eligible for monthly commission and bonus opportunities based on performance and company programs
