Store Manager - Full Time

About the role

Responsible for managing store operations and leading staff to ensure efficient processes including ordering, stocking, merchandising, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and legal compliance.
• Conduct performance reviews, address gaps, and recommend pay raises or promotions.
• Communicate performance standards, safety policies, and expectations regularly.
• Open and close the store as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Analyze sales and financial data to identify trends, control expenses, and minimize shrinkage.
• Manage inventory levels through ordering, cycle counts, and proper merchandise presentation.
• Maintain accurate cash handling, security, and safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and foster a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, complete documentation, and facilitate staff development.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret manuals, perform math calculations, and handle cash accurately.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, safety, and security practices.
• Bilingual skills may be preferred in some locations.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail management experience beneficial.

Physical & Working Conditions: Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, and occasional use of ladders. Fast-paced environment with exposure to weather and moderate noise.
