Store Manager - Full Time

About the role

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all store operations, including hiring, training, staffing, merchandise management, and customer service. They ensure proper store presentation, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified staff, conduct performance evaluations, and manage employee development and compliance with labor laws.
• Lead daily store opening and closing, monitor sales and expenses, and analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Manage inventory through ordering, stock staging, and cycle counts; maintain merchandise presentation and pricing standards.
• Ensure cash handling accuracy, security procedures, and financial integrity of the store.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
• Ensure staff follow policies outlined in operational manuals and complete all required documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising practices.
• Experience with cash handling, safety policies, and staff supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; management experience in retail is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and operating equipment; some travel required.
