Store Manager - Full Time

About the role

Responsible for managing store operations, including employee recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and adherence to policies. Ensures proper staffing, merchandise presentation, inventory control, and financial integrity. Provides exceptional customer service and maintains a safe, organized store environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified staff, ensuring proper store staffing and conducting performance reviews.
• Train employees, communicate expectations, and support safety and security policies.
• Evaluate sales and expense data to identify business trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage inventory levels through ordering, cycle counts, and merchandise presentation.
• Maintain accurate cash handling, security procedures, and store cleanliness.
• Lead customer service efforts, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret operational documents, perform math calculations, and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and retail operations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Preferred high school diploma; management experience in retail is a plus.
• Bilingual skills may be advantageous in some locations.

Physical & Work Environment

Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, and occasional climbing are required. The environment is fast‑paced with moderate noise, and sometimes exposure to outside weather conditions.
