Store Manager - Full Time

About the role

Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, training, merchandise presentation, inventory control, and customer service. Ensures effective hiring, performance evaluations, and adherence to safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees; provide training and conduct performance evaluations.
• Manage store opening and closing, staffing levels, and communicate performance and safety expectations.
• Analyze operating statements to identify business trends and control expenses.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, merchandising, and presentation standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, security, and cash handling procedures.
• Lead customer service initiatives and ensure a clean, safe shopping environment.
• Ensure compliance with policies, complete required documentation, and foster teamwork.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to interpret operational documents and perform mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience in recruiting, training, and managing staff with knowledge of legal compliance.
• Preferred high school diploma and management experience in retail.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, stand, walk, and operate equipment regularly.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and customer-focused approach.
