Store Manager - Full Time

Role Overview The Store Manager oversees all store operations, including staffing, sales, inventory, and customer service, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards. They are responsible for recruiting, training, evaluating, and managing employees, maintaining proper staffing levels, and fostering a positive work environment. The manager analyzes sales and expense data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, manages inventory levels, and ensures merchandise presentation aligns with company standards. They also handle cash management, security, and store safety, while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, organized store. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; management experience preferred.Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising practices.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to interpret documents, perform calculations, and handle cash procedures.Problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with diverse situations.Preferred bilingual (Spanish) skills at some locations. Key Responsibilities Recruit, select, train, and develop staff; conduct performance evaluations.Ensure store is properly staffed, opened, and closed daily.Monitor sales, profitability, and expenses; manage inventory and ordering processes.Maintain merchandise presentation and inventory accuracy.Implement security and safety procedures, controlling cash and store keys.Deliver excellent customer service and foster a safe shopping environment.Complete required documentation and adhere to policies and procedures. Physical & Working Conditions Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.Use of equipment like scanners, pricing guns, and carts.Occasional outdoor exposure and driving for store-related tasks.Fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
