Store Manager - Full Time

Role Overview

Manage store operations by overseeing staff, processes, and customer service to ensure efficiency, safety, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and performance management.
• Coordinate store opening and closing procedures, maintain safety and security standards.
• Analyze financial statements to identify trends, control expenses, and maximize sales and profitability.
• Manage inventory levels through ordering, stock presentation, and cycle counts, ensuring accurate merchandise display and pricing.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety, facilitating a secure shopping environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal labor standards, and safety procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address customer needs effectively.
• Complete administrative tasks and ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, cash handling, and merchandising practices.
• Ability to interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and utilize cash register systems.
• Experience in management preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
• Effective interpersonal skills, with some locations favoring bilingual (Spanish) speakers.

Physical & Work Environment

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds; occasional climbing and driving.
• Fast-paced environment with moderate noise; exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
