Store Manager - Full Time

About the role

Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, training, inventory, merchandising, and customer service. Ensures store is properly staffed, maintains inventory accuracy, and optimizes sales and profitability. Oversees employee performance, conducts evaluations, and enforces safety and security policies. Manages opening and closing procedures, supervises merchandise presentation, and controls expenses and shrink. Maintains a clean, safe environment and ensures compliance with company policies and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified staff; provide training and conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure staffing levels, open/close store daily, and oversee merchandise presentation.
• Analyze financial statements to identify trends and control expenses.
• Order and manage inventory to meet stock targets and prevent shrinkage.
• Maintain store safety, security, cleanliness, and compliance with policies.
• Deliver excellent customer service and foster a positive team environment.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.

Qualifications

Experience in retail management preferred; high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Bilingual skills may be advantageous.

Skills

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of inventory management, cash handling, and merchandising. Ability to interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and operate cash registers.
