Store Manager - Full-Time

Role Overview

This position involves managing store operations, including hiring, training, and supervising staff to ensure efficient store processes such as ordering, stocking, presentation, and customer service. The manager is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, financial integrity, and store safety, while fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, and evaluate employees in compliance with laws and policies.
• Manage store opening and closing procedures, staffing, and safety protocols.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify sales trends, control expenses, and reduce shrinkage.
• Oversee inventory management, merchandise presentation, and stock replenishment.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, security, and adherence to company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
• Complete all required documentation and communicate performance expectations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to interpret documents, perform basic mathematical calculations, and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory practices, merchandising, and safety controls.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in retail management preferred; high school diploma or equivalent recommended.
• Certain locations may favor bilingual (Spanish) abilities.

Physical & Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 40-55 pounds, and occasional climbing.
• The environment is fast-paced with moderate noise, and may include exposure to outside weather conditions.
• Ability to provide own transportation for store-related tasks is required.
