Store Manager - Full Time

About the Role

Responsible for managing store employees and overseeing all store operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and retain qualified staff in compliance with employment laws and policies.
• Lead performance management, including conducting evaluations and addressing performance gaps.
• Ensure proper store opening and closing procedures, including personal involvement as needed.
• Analyze financial statements to identify business trends, control expenses, and minimize shrinkage.
• Manage inventory levels through ordering, cycle counts, and stock presentation to meet sales targets.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and store appearance according to company standards.
• Ensure cash handling accuracy, security, and adherence to cash control procedures.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a safe, organized shopping environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret operational documents and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience in recruiting, coaching, and managing staff with legal compliance awareness.
• Bilingual skills may be preferred in some locations.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; management experience in retail is a plus.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 40-55 pounds, bending, and occasional outside weather exposure.
