Store Manager - Full Time

About the role

The Store Manager oversees all store operations, including staffing, inventory management, merchandising, sales, and customer service. They ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations, evaluate business performance, control expenses, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, evaluate, and retain qualified staff.
• Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Analyze financial statements to identify trends and opportunities.
• Oversee inventory control, ordering, and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and company policies.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment.
• Manage cash handling, cashier accountability, and security protocols.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Management experience in retail is advantageous.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, cash handling, and safety procedures.
• Ability to interpret operational documents and perform calculations.
• Bilingual skills may be preferred in some locations.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds.
• Occasional ladder use and outdoor exposure.
• Fast-paced environment with moderate noise level.
• Driving required for store-related tasks.
