About the role
The Manager-in-Deck (MOD) oversees the overall store performance, ensuring operational efficiency and financial profitability.
Responsibilities
- Establishing guest service standards
- Managing team performance through coaching and counseling
- Recruiting and hiring in partnership with HR
- Conducting performance evaluations
- Analyzing business trends to maximize sales
- Developing plans to meet sales and profit targets
- Reviewing invoices for growth opportunities
- Maintaining proper control over assets and cash handling
- Ensuring store cleanliness
- Ensuring merchandising standards
- Ensuring equipment maintenance for a welcoming environment
Qualifications & Skills
- At least two years of management experience in the automotive industry or similar
- Proven record of achieving sales goals
- Previous automotive technician experience (preferred)
- Must possess or obtain a valid driver’s license
- Able to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
Compensation & Benefits
Offers a salary range of $50,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience.
