Store Manager Candidate

Role Overview Support the Store Manager in daily store operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This position serves as a developmental role for future store management, assisting with recruiting, staffing, and ensuring store processes run smoothly. Key Responsibilities Assist in hiring, training, and supervising staff to foster a productive team environment.Support merchandising efforts by stocking, staging, and presenting products per company standards.Participate in inventory management, including conducting inventories, processing damages, and executing markdowns.Ensure accurate cash handling, cashier accountability, and adherence to security procedures.Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized store environment.Assist with store opening and closing activities, review sales and expense reports, and help meet in-stock targets.Complete documentation, follow safety protocols, and support store financial integrity. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Retail experience is a plus.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, cash handling, and safety practices.Bilingual skills may be preferred at some locations.Ability to lift up to 40-55 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks routinely.Effective interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
