Store Floor Lead (Sur La Table)

About the role

The Store Floor Lead is responsible for managing the in-store customer experience, ensuring all customers receive exceptional service and are directed to products that meet their needs. This role also involves maintaining the store’s appearance and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage the in-store customer experience, ensuring all customers receive exceptional service.
• Direct customers to products that meet their needs, providing recommendations based on their preferences and requirements.
• Maintain the store’s appearance, including organizing merchandise, cleaning, and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
• Handle customer complaints and issues, resolving them promptly and professionally.
• Support the store manager in planning and executing promotional events and activities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership position.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of retail operations, including product knowledge and store management best practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
