Staffing Coordinator PD
About the role
The Staffing Coordinator (PD) at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is responsible for coordinating the placement of nursing staff according to acuity and census to ensure adequate staffing meets patient care needs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates, facilitates communication, and functions as a resource for Nursing Supervisors, Clinical Managers, department directors, nursing staff and the Nursing Resource Unit.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a healthcare-related field utilizing computerized staffing and scheduling systems.
- Prior experience in a healthcare-related field utilizing computerized staffing and scheduling systems preferred.
- Working knowledge of computer and information systems techniques and procedures.
- General knowledge and understanding of Cottage Health supported standard software applications.
- Specific knowledge of networked systems for specialized software(s) with interfaces.
- Experience working with multiple users, locations, and technical support personnel.

Pay
Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable.
