Staffing Coordinator
The Staffing Coordinator State Role at Central State Hospital (CSH) is a full-time position. CSH is a 277-bed psychiatric inpatient facility in Petersburg, Virginia, with a rich history dating back to 1870. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing schedules and providing customer service.
Job Duties
- Act as essential personnel during emergency/crisis situations.
- Manage scheduling processes and documentation.
- Apply principles of customer service and recovery principles.
- Utilize scheduling systems and automated programs.
- Collaborate with team members and handle confidential matters.
Qualifications
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office including email).
- Experience with automated scheduling programs.
- Knowledge of recovery principles and trauma-informed care.
Skills
- Problem identification and resolution.
- Proficiency in personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professionalism, judgment, and decision-making.
- Time management and multitasking.
- Reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
- Collaborative leadership and communication skills.
- Operating an automated scheduling program.
- Independence and ability to orient/train others.
- Experience with the public and handling confidential matters.
Additional Considerations
- Experience with Kronos automated scheduler program.
- Significant experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
