Staffing Coordinator-Part time

About the role

MercyOne Genesis serves a 17‑county bi‑state region of the Quad Cities (Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline, Illinois) metropolitan area and surrounding communities. Responsibilities

• Operate the automated staffing and scheduling system.
• Maintain database and system integrity.
• Coordinate staffing and determine resource allocation for designated patient care areas based on the standards and philosophies of Genesis Medical Center.

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Word processing proficiency with a minimum of 40 wpm.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

• Moderate interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate with a variety of people inside and outside the organization.
• Communications of moderate difficulty and sensitivity; may involve detailed and lengthy dialogues.
• Capable of dealing with moderately complicated problem situations or stressful encounters.

Schedule

• Evening shift, Monday – Friday.
• Holiday rotation required.
• Part‑time employment.
