About the role
Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and direct patient care with a focus on family-centered approach. Provide comprehensive care addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs across all ages and developmental stages. Demonstrate leadership, perform patient-centered, quality improvement, safety, and evidence-based practice duties.
Responsibilities
- Support staff education, precept new employees, and act as a mentor to clinical staff.
- Collaborate with provider staff to ensure efficient operations, high-quality care, and excellent customer service using a team approach.
- Utilize informatics and technology systems, including electronic medical records.
- Perform systems-based practice duties and adapt to temporary assignments within the enterprise as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Experience working with various organizational levels; healthcare experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems preferred.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or obtained within 5 years.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Ohio required.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience preferred.
