Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and direct family-centered nursing care for diverse patient groups.
- Provide comprehensive care addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs across all ages and developmental stages.
- Perform leadership, mentorship, and professional duties, including staff education and precepting new employees.
- Deliver patient-centered care, participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and evidence-based practices.
- Support collaborative team efforts to ensure efficient operations, high-quality care, and excellent customer service.
- Engage in systems-based practices, informatics, and technology duties, with potential temporary assignments across the organization.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in healthcare and familiarity with electronic medical records (e.g., EPIC) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
Education & Certification
- BSN or within 5 years of hire; current RN licensure in Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of one year of relevant healthcare experience preferred.
