About the role
This position involves providing nursing care and staff guidance in a pediatric clinical setting, supporting provider teams, and promoting efficient, high-quality patient care with a focus on excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and precept new clinical staff, assess clinical competencies, and participate in staff evaluations.
- Conduct patient assessments and advocate for children's health and safety, fostering positive interactions with families and the community.
- Assist with care consultations, discharge planning, and clinical education for staff.
- Support team operations and uphold a positive public image.
Qualifications
- BSN required; RN licensure in Ohio; BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with pediatric ambulatory care and electronic medical records (EPIC) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
