Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.
• Must have, as a minimum, one year’s experience in a health-related facility.
• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct in-service educational programs throughout the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
