About the role

The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for conducting education, skills competencies, training, clinical observations, and quality assurance audit tools as directed by the Director of Nursing Services. The role also involves assisting with new employee hiring and engaging staff to champion employee recognition and retention programs.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts education, skills competencies, training, clinical observations, and quality assurance audit tools as directed by the Director of Nursing Services.
  • Aids in new employee hiring processes.
  • Engages staff to champion employee recognition and retention programs.
  • Serves as an advocate for growth and development within the company.
  • Creates a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
  • Collaborates with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Communicates respectfully and positively in a work environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
