About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Development Coordinator to enhance training and education within a long-term care facility.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education in compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and assess the competency of nursing staff, providing immediate 1:1 instruction when needed.
- Provide skill training to new staff members in deficient areas before they care for residents.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure.
- Minimum of three years clinical experience, preferably in long-term care.
- Active CPR certification.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
