Staff Development Coordinator RN
About the Role
The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for conducting education, skills competencies, training, clinical observations, and quality assurance audit tools as directed by the Director of Nursing Services. This role also assists with new employee hiring and requires a high level of engagement with staff to champion employee recognition and retention programs while serving as an advocate for growth and development within the company.
Responsibilities
- Conduct education, training, and skills competencies for staff.
- Perform clinical observations and quality assurance audits.
- Assist with new employee hiring processes.
- Monitor, track, audit, and analyze data for educational opportunities.
- Lead and motivate staff to follow infection prevention practices.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Collaborate to achieve shared goals and support a respectful, positive work environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Indiana RN license or ability to obtain one.
