SSC Central Rent CLerk
About the Role
AIR Communities is hiring a SSC Central Rent Clerk to join our centralized operations support team in Denver, CO. This is an in-office position with a consistent schedule, offering evenings and weekends off.
Our corporate office is located in the Denver Tech Center, featuring expansive views of the mountains and downtown skyline. This role requires in-office work 5 days a week to support central administrative operations.
Responsibilities
- Post and process rent payments, accurately recording receipts and applicable fees to the appropriate ledger.
- Drive and support the printing of final account statements, deposit refunds, and mail distribution.
- Work directly with current/past residents and community teams to answer questions or resolve collection-related issues.
- Partner with the Collections department on special projects or assist with final account statements as requested.
- Support the annual renewal process of operational licenses for properties and process renewals within the budgeted month.
- Monitor and ensure accurate posting and reconciliation of assigned accounts.
- Prepare and record financial transactions.
- Analyze, research, and resolve exception items.
Requirements
- High school education and 1-2 years of related experience in data entry and customer service.
- 1-2 years of customer service or administrative experience (retail, hospitality, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize multiple software applications and data entry systems.
- Dependable and proven ability to work independently.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills.
- Property management experience is a plus.
