About the Role

AIR Communities is hiring a Central Rent Clerk to join our centralized operations support team in Denver, CO. This is an entry-level corporate office opportunity with a consistent schedule, allowing you to enjoy evenings and weekends.

The position is based in our corporate office located in the Denver Tech Center, spanning the top two floors with expansive views of the mountains and downtown skyline. This role is in-office 5 days a week to support central administrative operations.

Responsibilities

  • Post and process rent payments, accurately recording receipts and applicable fees to the appropriate ledger.
  • Drive and support the printing of final account statements, deposit refunds, and mail distribution.
  • Work directly with current/past residents and community teams to answer questions or resolve collection-related issues.
  • Partner with the Collections department on special projects or assist with final account statements as requested.
  • Support the annual renewal process of operational licenses for properties and process renewals within the budgeted month.
  • Monitor and ensure accurate posting and reconciliation of assigned accounts.
  • Prepare and record financial transactions.
  • Analyze, research, and resolve exception items.

Requirements

  • High school education and 1-2 years of related experience in data entry and customer service.
  • 1-2 years of customer service or administrative experience (retail, hospitality, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize multiple software applications and data entry systems.
  • Dependable with a proven ability to work independently.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills.
  • Property management experience is a plus.
