Sr. Worldwide Sales Specialist - Connect
About the role
Amazon Connect is a cloud-based contact center service that addresses customer service pain points and provides a scalable alternative to traditional contact center solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience in enterprise sales, particularly in customer experience management and contact center sectors, to sell Amazon Connect to technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue in a defined territory with multiple account teams and partners.
- Meet or exceed revenue targets by helping AWS sellers navigate sales cycles and accelerate implementations.
- Build deep relationships with customers to fully understand their business, solutions, and technical needs.
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions that address specific needs of your customers.
- Build, manage, and close a pipeline of Amazon Connect revenue in your territory.
- Drive business development initiatives in your territory in partnership with Go To Market Strategy team and Partner Development resources.
- Prepare and give business reviews to AWS senior management teams.
Requirements
- 4+ years of contact center, or 1+ years of work in the customer service/contact center industry experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Qualifications
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to navigate complex sales environment
- Experience selling into large enterprises
- Proven track record of sales success over an extended time period
