Sr. Technical Program Manager – Server Hardware Engineering, Mainstream Compute and Accelerators
About the role
The Sr. Technical Program Manager – Server Hardware Engineering, Mainstream Compute and Accelerators is responsible for leading multiple simultaneous hardware product development programs in a highly cross-functional environment. The role involves providing leadership in the application of new technologies to large-scale server deployments, aiming to deliver a world-class customer experience at a world-class cost point. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position where you'll work with thought leaders in multiple technology areas.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple simultaneous hardware product development programs in a highly cross-functional environment
- Provide leadership in the application of new technologies to large-scale server deployments
- Deliver a world-class customer experience at a world-class cost point
- Collaborate with people across AWS to help deliver the highest standards for safety and security
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Own and drive roadmap strategy and definition
- Manage complex hardware systems and programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Define and execute processes that deliver both savings and productivity for Amazon
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
- Experience managing complex hardware systems and programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, coordinating release schedules
Qualifications
- 7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Extensive experience managing complex hardware systems and programs, building processes, complicated schedules with many dependencies, identifying risks, trade-offs, designing 2-way doors

Pay
Base salary range: $171,000.00 - $231,400.00 USD annually
